Hi guys,
So the buzz these days is around Liverpool split up with adidas and their new “wedding” with Warrior Sports. So, supposedly these are the 2012-2013 Liverpool kits. No confirmation so far but these pictures are all other “the Reds” forums. Take a look…
The potential 2012-2013 Liverpool Home, Away and 3rd Kits.
One sketch of the Home kit
… and the iconic Steven Gerrard
So what is your take? Fake? Real? Photoshop?

Thanks Shay!
I loooove the sketch (2nd picture for those who don’t know). I don’t think it’s a genuine one, but the comments are hilarious!

Hi Luke,
I have to say I miss the Yellow kit for Liverpool. It seems to me the genuine away colour for the Reds……but I may be wrong. What’s your take?

Gotta disagree with you there i’ve always liked the green/green & white kits with green being a traditional goalie kit colour you don’t see it a lot on the pitch so it’s different every other club plays in yellow as an away kit and on top of that the club badge colour are mainly red white and green.

I like the current ones, the black (or charcoal) because they are modern and yet throwback at the same time.

Fair point, but Liverpool had Yellow away kits in the 80s (1979 until 1985) and in 1985 and 1986. Adidas created a yellow away kit for Liverpool in 2006 as well.
That’s why in my opinion, an away jersey for Liverpool is more yellow than green.

Steven Gerrard pic is a fake. It’s the pic used to promote the last Adidas/Carlsberg kit. The Adidas Preds he is wearing are about 4 years old

We need to keep the origanal crest. not this one. Flames rep those who pasted in Hillsbrough. Gates of Shankley also need to be there. Sorry taking them away = they didn’t mean anything.

Hi Jimmy,
I agree with you on the crest. I think the original crest is better than the liverbird. It’s the essence of the club with the gates of shankley. Good point!

Top image is a ‘fantasy’ design from someone i’ve seen elsewhere on the internet, don’t know about the 2nd image and the Gerrard one is photoshopped from a Adidas/Carlsberg kit from a few years ago

Yep. Particularly the green 3rd jersey, which is/was the standard design used by all the teams in the Australian A-League, and made by Reebok. All photoshops IMO. Hell, I even have the exact Photoshop templates that were used to make the top set of kits. That should tell you something of the authenticity of them.

The picture of Gerrard is clearly a fake and I can tell by the football boots, they are 2-3 years old and I doubt he would do a photoshoot in them…
