The FIFA delegation visiting the bidding countries for the 2018-2022 World Cup inspected the Russian facilities and venues on August 16-19. Russia is bidding to host the World Cup either in 2018 or 2022. The FIFA delegation went to Holland and Belgium the week before and the delegation lead by Harold Mayne-Nicholls, the President of the Chilean Football Federation stayed 4 days in Putin…sorry….Medvedev’s Russia.
