After signing Manchester City and the English FA, Nike partners with Blackburn Rovers, a former Umbro asset. Blackburn Rovers confirmed a new partnership that will see the club’s kit sponsorship move from Umbro to the Nike brand from the start of the 2013-14 season.

Huge news today. Nike is supposedly on the verge to replace Umbro as official kit supplier for the England National Team. According to various sources, Nike could launch a new England kit as early as next May despite the contract linking Umbro to the England football team until 2018.

Hi everyone,
This week, great partnerships are being signed off. Yesterday, after adidas and the MLS
unveiled their deal to the public, today, the English Football Association and their 60 year old partner Umbro released theirs. Umbro, owned by Nike Inc., has extended its sponsorship deal with the English Football Association until 2018.
