adidas has recently launched a new campaign where they are giving fans the chance to control some of the World’s best footballers shots and actions. The nationwide campaign is asking football fans to submit ideas for what they would like to see at an adidas event in May. A group of top players will be coming to London and adidas are handing over control of what they get up to.
The event in May will be used to launch the next generation of the iconic adidas Predator boot worn by some of the best players in the World. The new campaign will be fronted by the likes of Kaka, Robin Van Persie, Nani, Dimitar Berbatov, Steven Gerrard, and Petr Cech.
The submitted ideas will be ranked on www.adidas.com where fans will be able to vote for their favourite suggestions. Fans can submit their ideas up until May 3rd at which point a top 50 will be finalised. adidas will take these top 50 ideas and working with the players, will use them as inspiration to create a spectacular event in a London location. Those lucky enough to have their idea feature in the top 50 will get VIP access to the main event in late May.
The project is a key strand of adidas’ new ‘all in’ campaign which also includes music and fashion initiatives. Each strand invites adidas’ core audience of urban youth to get physically involved – to go ‘all in’. The work, developed around the theme of ‘own the game’, brings together a range of digital and social media channels with live events.
