Yesterday I published an article about fan engagement written by Mark Bradley. Liverpool official sponsor New Balance is reaching out to Liverpool fans by launching fan pub parties in the US.
New Balance is offering Liverpool FC fans an opportunity to celebrate their passion with LFC Pub Parties in Pasadena and San Francisco.
As the official kit supplier of LFC, New Balance is hosting two free events for Liverpool FC fans to unite off the field in advance of the soccer matches against Chelsea at the Rose Bowl (Pasadena) and AC Milan at Levi’s Stadium (San Francisco).
Presented by former USMNT team player and KICK presenter, Heath Pearce, the events will feature a meet and greet with LFC Legend and icon, Luis García, who scored 30 goals in 121 appearances for LFC, with ten of them in the Champions League and five in the knockout stages of the 2005 European triumph.
Attendees will also have the chance to win LFC game tickets, raffle items and prizes, including Liverpool FC 2016/17 New Balance Home and Away kits. The events are FREE for fans 21 and older. In addition, fans can also connect with the LFC Pub Parties socially with @NBFootball and using the hashtag #LFCTOUR2016.

Creativity is key when engaging fans. A pub party is interesting but I trust it is part of an overall fan engagement strategy that is fully integrated in the club tour in North America.
