The adidas Group has avoided making more than 1 million physical samples since 2010, by developing 3D images of products during the sell-in process, the company reported on its blog.

The 2013 Champions League final saw the dominance of German football, two fantastic teams from an underestimated Bundesliga. On a sports marketing standpoint, Bayern Munich victory gave adidas the lead on the amount of sponsored team victories in Champions League.
Nike ranked first in Forbes list of the most valuable sports business brands. Nike was followed in the top-five by ESPN, Adidas, Sky Sports and Gatorade. Reebok and Under Armour also made the top-ten list.
adidas announced their financial figures for the first half of 2011 with revenue increasing a massive 14%, a substantial increase of 10% on a currency-neutral basis in the second quarter of the year alone. Europe saw them have a huge leap in revenue where sales went up 21% as a result of strong increases at both Adidas and Reebok.

The Adidas Group announced plans to open its biggest distribution center in Niedersachsenpark, Germany, in the first half of 2013. The planned distribution center will consolidate all flows and services under one roof for all three sales channels of both the adidas and Reebok brands: Wholesale, Own Retail and e-commerce.
The Manchester United winger Nani was a Nike player for many years, and has recently been signed by adidas. The Portuguese striker was visiting adidas Headquarters in Herzogenaurach, Germany. There, he visited the wall of fame and the Heritage division, where he seemed to have had great fun!
